Dumpster Rental Process
After you decide what size dumpster you need, place an order by phone or order online. You'll provide the delivery address and where the dumpster is to be placed upon arrival. Most dumpsters have gates in the back that swing out approximately 8 feet, so you must indicate whether you need to use the gate or not.
We recommend setting boards down to protect any surface from possible damage. Boards are to be provided by the customer. Allow 24 hours for delivery Monday through Friday.
Rent a Dumpster for 1 Day or Up to 14 days
You can rent your dumpster for up to 14 days (at the same price) but don't have to keep the dumpster for the full time. Roll off waste containers can be returned any time before the 14 days for the same rate. Sorting through all of your things to determine what is trash and what is treasure can take time. Enjoy your weekends!
After the 14 days rental period expires, rental cost is $27/day.

How Pricing at Madison Dumpster Rental Works
Our dumpster rental prices are based on a Flat Rate—one low price under a designated tonnage cap. There are NO hidden fees such as fuel, environmental, service or tax. Our flat rate pricing covers delivery, removal, and disposal of debris up to a certain tonnage cap ($89 per ton over the tonnage cap). When the containers are picked up they are weighed before they go into the landfill and after they dump their load at the landfill.
A false run fee may be charged if the containers are blocked or over-filled upon scheduled pickup time. If the dumpster is kept past the 14 day rental period, you will be charged per day. If the dumpster is placed on the street, an extra fee may be applied for a city street permit and flashing barricades if required. Street permits are pulled by the homeowner.
Dumpsters will automatically be removed after 14 days. If you are finished with your dumpster before the 14 day period, please contact us for removal.

Things You Need to Know About Dumpster Placement
Dumpster on the Street
Permission to place the dumpster on the street needs to be granted by your local DPW a day before delivery. We will need a control number or the name and number of the person at the DPW before we place the dumpster on the street.
Dumpster in an Alley
Dumpsters normally do not fit in the back of a property through an alleyway. They also cannot be placed on any public right of way, such as an alley, sidewalk or median strip. It is a good idea to measure the area that you need to see if the dumpster will fit and check the dumpster dimensions to see if it will fit.
Dumpster on a Driveway
When placing the dumpster on a driveway or parking pad, the customer should refer to the dimensions of our roll-off dumpsters. Make sure you specify if your dumpster door needs to swing open or not. The dumpster door is located on the back of the dumpster, similar to a dump truck. It will need 9’ of space behind the roll-off dumpster to do so.
Protecting Your Driveway with Wood
It is also a good idea to place wood down to protect the surface of your driveway. 3 each 2X4 or (2X6 preferably) planks. 4-8’ in length. Plywood also works, but it is not as thick. Lay the wood down in the general area to mark the location of the dumpster, and the driver will position the wood in place. You are responsible for providing the wood.
Dumpster companies generally do not take responsibility for damage to the surface required to deliver or remove a roll-off dumpster rental.
